IT services social media leads with LinkedIn, publishing project case studies and technical thought-leadership content that build credibility with a technical, B2B, role-based buyer audience. Measured against project inquiries attributed to social, not follower count.
People trust engineers, not logos
Company pages on LinkedIn get modest reach. Posts from founders, heads of engineering and senior developers get far more, because people follow people. Our social plans for IT firms are built around two or three internal voices, with the company page sharing and amplifying their best material.

What to post
- Short breakdowns of real problems you solved, with the stack and the trade-offs
- Opinions on technology choices, backed by experience rather than hype
- Case study summaries with a clear outcome and a link to the full write-up
- Hiring and culture posts, which also help with recruitment
- Event and webinar clips, cut into short pieces
The AI angle
Buyers now ask AI assistants for vendor shortlists. ChatGPT alone reported 900 million weekly active users in February 2026 (TechCrunch, Feb 2026), and Gartner found 45% of B2B buyers had used AI during a recent purchase (Gartner, March 2026). Consistent, specific public content from named experts is one of the signals those tools draw on when they describe what a firm is good at.
Be wary of "AI agent" hype in your own marketing. Gartner estimated only around 130 of the thousands of vendors claiming agentic AI were genuine (Gartner, June 2025). Buyers have noticed, and specific, modest claims now stand out.
How we measure it
Profile visits from target accounts, inbound messages, demo or discovery calls attributed to social, and the share of new opportunities who say they saw your content. Follower numbers come last. For the wider plan, see our full-stack IT services package.
